Release Build Available! (4/11/22)


During PAX, we received a lot of encouraging feedback from everyone who was able to play with our game. So for the last month we've been working through the player feedback and making any additional changes to further improve the way players interact with and play our game. 

The first change made was towards one of the puzzles, specifically by making certain painting assets stand out more to players and a rewrite for one of the game's found notes to better link all of the individual components together.

The second was by revamping our existing systems such as how players would be investigating which can be achieved by just looking at the object that they want to interact with rather than stand in the general location. This was done to better ensure that players don't interact with an object that they didn't mean to.

And the last changes we made was to the aesthetic, updating the art assets to be consistent with the game's vision and to make the environment feel lived in rather than a seperate entity. 

Along with these changes, we had resolved some bugs that hindered the full player experience along with other QOL improvements.

A notable bug would be that players would not be able to pick up a key during their first run of the game, to fix this issue, simply exit to menu and start a new game immediately after spawining into the game.
